What does the job involve?
You join one of the application development teams, an experienced, informal and enthusiastic scrum team of 5 developers, supported by different functional roles (QA, UI/UX, product owner, etc). The team is building web applications that are focusing on use cases, targeting clients in the media planning industry.
You will be responsible for:
- Discuss requirements with stakeholders (UI/UX lead, product owner, team lead, etc)
- Build reusable and maintainable UI components according to requirements, using React
- Contribute to component library whenever applicable
- Use any appropriate testing approach to make sure your code is covered with test (unit test, integration tests with postman, e2e testing with cypress, so on)
- Work together with backend developers to shape UI/api needs, we definitely welcome people who want to step in full stack

The ideal candidate:
- solid knowledge/experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript
- at least 2 years of front end development experience with React
- familiarity/experience with ES6, Jest, WebPack, Sass
- write unit tested code as part of standard coding practices
- experience with building component library
- open for learning and can take ownership of features from coding to delivery
- can review changes of his/her colleagues both technically and functionally
- experience working in an Agile environment
- good communication skills and is able to share his/her knowledge with the team
- good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
- Furthermore, it is an advantage if you:
- Full stack development, experience in api development with Nodejs
- Familiarity with UI/UX, can assess the product from end user perspective
- Familiarity with monorepo, especially with Lerna
