Nielsen Sports is looking for a qualified individual to help support the Market Intelligence team in Gurgaon. The right candidate will support the team with secondary research of sports and non-sports events across the globe andupdate SPONSORGLOBE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Research on various sports and non-sports events online. Research includes information on sponsorships, endorsements, media rights, etc. Scroll through official website of brands and rights holders, social media pages of various athletes and other sports news and generic websites

 

  • Enter sponsorship related information in a database. Information includes brand, company, sponsorship object, contract duration, region, etc.

 

  • Update various properties based on an internal sports calendar. Efficiently plan the tasks and meet the monthly deadlines by updating all the properties in a given month

 

  • Research online through various newsletters for new sponsorship contracts and enter the relevant information in the database

 

  • Desk research sponsorships and other information on various events and tournaments based on request from other nielsen markets

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

 

  • Graduation in any field (Preference for economics, statistics, sports marketing, business administration)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office especially Excel & Powerpoint year of experience in secondary research, database management
  • Hard Working
  • Good Communication skills
  • Team player
  • Secondary research skills
  • Interest and good knowledge of different sports across the globe
