Nielsen is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Marketing team as Product Marketing Manager. In this role, you will work closely with product leadership, sales, finance, corporate marketing, creative, communications and training/deployment to help shape and drive the go-to-market strategies for products in our Buy business.  


As Product Marketing Manager, your job is to help successfully launch products by developing clear go-to-market strategies, create compelling messaging and support the development of impactful content and marketing plans. This is a highly visible role within a global matrixed organization reporting into the VP of Buy Product Marketing. You will have the opportunity to influence various stakeholders and bring to market Nielsen’s major product initiatives.





  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges for products we bring to market
  • Maintain buyer personas and understand the buying process to inform sales material development



  • Collaborate with the product and sales teams to identify the go to market strategy for the product
  • Support product positioning and a narrative that resonates with our buyers based on buyer needs and the competitive environment
  • Develop sales collateral to support the go to market strategy



  • Support the development of the product value proposition and market opportunity
  • Collaborate on content development and training programs for internal awareness and education
  • Support product launch plans with stakeholders from product and sales teams. Lead sales enablement and internal training to ensure involved teams can effectively sell and support the product.



  • Analyze in-market performance data to identify areas of opportunity to increase adoption of our products
  • Regularly revisit customer needs to inform product refinements and feedback
  • Track and measure the effectiveness and impact of all marketing activities





  • 4-5 years experience in B2B Product Marketing or Marketing
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with and launching SaaS products (preferred)
  • Ability to work collaboratively across many teams to achieve a common goal
  • Understanding of FMCG industry and FMCG market research (preferred)
  • Adept at storytelling with ability to simplify complex information
  • Innovative self-starter, not afraid to take risks
  • Excited by generating and adopting new ways of working
