As part of the Google Global CBP team, the manager will have an opportunity to work with one of the world’s top tech companies and support our key business with recognized brands such as YouTube, YouTube TV, and Digital Video 360.  The Google client service team works across Google’s key functional groups such as Product, Sales, Research, Marketing and Business Development on key product initiatives, supporting subscriptions to our syndicated products and working on new opportunities that help accelerate our fast growing Google/Nielsen partnership. This role will be an integral part of our fun and driven 6 person team, while also gaining exposure to Nielsen's broader Digital Client Services team and Global Growth Partners.



  • Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams to drive strategic commercial and product initiatives forward with Google 

  • Interface directly with Google business development, sales, go-to-market and other key external decision makers in support of new large-scale strategic business opportunities, expanding scaled sales programs, as well as support Nielsen product launches in the US and globally

  • Lead by example to ensure the Google CBP team maintains client relationships with adaptability, urgency, and positivity.

  • Manage sales initiatives from prospecting, to negotiating and closing contracts


High-Level Responsibilities:

  • Support and own aspects of the Nielsen One US deal and go-to-market with Google and internal stakeholders

    • Work with product and comms to ensure we’re making progress against the content/planning roll-out milestones. 

  • Support and own aspects of the International Nielsen One expansion proposal and go-to-market with Google and internal stakeholders

    • Own TAR computer/mobile closed beta process. Educate international teams on Google’s closed beta process, stay up to date on progress and help unblock issues to facilitate Google approval and full launch of YouTube in computer/mobile TAR 

  • Help drive new measurement opportunities with Google:

    • DTVR

    • Brand Lift

    • Streaming Meter



You're a bit of a people person and feel energized by successful collaboration. You confidently manage relationships and expectations as well as you manage projects, and you have a keen eye for identifying who the key players are to move a complex initiative forward to completion. You understand and can clearly communicate technical and product concepts to the client as needed.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate ability to work independently, but very much be a team player; is adaptable to change, proactive, responsive, exhibits a can-do attitude, asks questions and enjoys problem solving. The associate should have strong written/verbal communication acumen with a good understanding of Nielsen measurement solutions. 


Additional Skills / Experience Necessary

  • 3+ years of experience with Nielsen Audience Measurement

  • Self-starter who has the ability to navigate a complex organization while growing a partnership

  • Understanding client's needs at a big-picture level, as well as well as specifics

  • Ability to simplify complicated messages and present them concisely

  • Client service and strategic consultation

  • Ability to work across several Nielsen and Google groups in a matrix environment

  • Background in media, or marketing, preferably from a digital media company, TV Network digital department, or media analytics firm

  • Detail oriented


Revenue Responsibility:

This hire will support the Google team in meeting our  ~$60M (50M US / 10M International) op plan target by driving YouTube inclusion in our measurement products.
