Our SuperData team is looking to fill the position of Infrastructure Analyst - Games


SuperData publishes industry relevant key performance indicators for benchmarking, competitive analysis, and performance optimization. We specialize in helping our clients use data to identify actionable growth and investment opportunities.

The Technology Team at SuperData Research manages a full cloud tech stack which supports our live web products, data pipelines, and data management. The Infrastructure Analyst is an all fronts administrator of all things pertaining to Amazon Web Services – managing VPC, networking, VPNs, servers, security groups, server upgrade/migrations, golden images, cloud storage, user management.


The Ideal Infrastructure Analyst:


You have recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT Administration, Network Administration or have worked in related industry for 1-3 years.
You are a strong problem solver – you solve problems of a particular type once, not individual problems. Your solutions are dynamic and scalable.
You are always learning newer, faster, and better ways of doing things.
You have extreme attention to detail.




  • Management of MySQL/SQL Databases/EC2 Servers (Design, Import, Ad-hoc support queries, Procedures, Events, Speed Tuning)
  • Optimization of database parameters, network location management and cloud connectivity.
  • Server spin up/down, stack installation, server access management, software deployment.
  • Architecture and upgrade use of VPC, networking, security groups, security stack to newest best practice.




  • Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, RDS) or experience with similar cloud data providers.
  • Intermediate understanding of MySQL: nested queries, joins, temporary tables, stored procedures, and can transform transaction line data into monthly, quarterly, or other grouped summary style formats on the fly.
  • Intermediate understanding of scripting, data structures, loops, algorithms, events, procedures, functions.
  • Test deployment success parameters.
  • English proficiency required.
  • Microsoft Excel (Understanding of file formats. Import/export/manipulate .csv, .txt and other tabular/delimited formats from command line)
  • Comfortable working with time series data. (Percentage Change, CAGR)




  • Familiarity with the video games and understanding of how games earn revenue a plus. (Virtual economies, exchange rates, how to make a purchase, what virtual storefronts look like, etc.)
  • Impress us with a ridiculous high-score in your favorite game, your gaming stats, your unbeatable Magic deck, or your gaming rig specs.
