Nielsen is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Product Marketing team as a Product  Marketing Director to lead our Measurement efforts. In this role, you will work closely with product leadership, sales, finance, corporate marketing, marketing communications and training/deployment to grow existing products and successfully bring new products to market.

As Product Marketing Director, your job is to develop clear go-to-market strategies, create compelling messaging and support the development of impactful content and marketing plans. This is a highly visible role within a matrixed organization requiring you to collaborate with and influence various stakeholders and leaders across the Buy organization.




  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges for each product that we bring to market
  • Maintain buyer personas and understand the buying process to inform sales material development


  • Collaborate with the product and sales teams to identify the go to market strategy for the product
  • Create product positioning and a narrative that resonates with our buyers based on your understanding of buyer needs and the competitive environment
  • Develop sales collateral to support the go to market strategy


  • Develop the product value proposition, market opportunity and price model with your product lead
  • Collaborate on the development of marketing plans and materials to generate qualified leads 
  • Collaborate on content development and training programs for internal awareness and education
  • Develop a product launch plan with stakeholders from product and sales teams. Lead sales enablement and internal training to ensure involved teams can effectively sell and support the product.


  • On an on-going basis, analyze in-market performance data to identify areas of opportunity to increase adoption of our products
  • Regularly revisit customer needs to inform product refinements and feedback on betas prior to launch
  • Track and measure the effectiveness and impact of all marketing activities



  • 8+ years experience in B2B Product Marketing or Marketing 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across many teams to achieve a common goal
  • Experience working with and launching SaaS products
  • Understanding of the FMCG industry and FMCG market research (preferred)
  • Adept at storytelling with ability to simplify complex information
  • Innovative self-starter, not afraid to take risks
  • Excited by generating and adopting new ways of working
  • experience (bonus)
