Our SuperData team is looking to fill the position of Analytics Manager - Games


SuperData is the leading provider of data and market intelligence on digital games and interactive media. Our research methodology is driven by behavioral and digital point-of-sale data collected directly from game publishers and developers.
SuperData publishes industry relevant key performance indicators for benchmarking, competitive analysis, and performance optimization. We specialize in helping our clients use data to identify actionable growth and investment opportunities.
 
The Data Analytics Team translates all market data streams into actionable data & intelligence products for the digital video games industry. The team actively supports developers, publishers, and investors in developing strong market strategy.

The Analytics Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing internal and external projects for the team as well as leading the efforts to implement best practices into the daily work.

The ideal candidate will have a background in data-focused field (tech, data science etc) and will have at least 1 year of managerial experience.

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Collaborate on client calls and visits as needed with business development and client management
  • Delegate tasks to analysts and report on feasibility to Director and other departments
  • Perform analyst reviews
  • Develop timelines for projects
  • Manage analysts and guide them on their models and technical skills
  • Identify new ways to grow team size, capabilities and bandwidth
  • Work with Research Director to develop and implement long-term goals for the team and department

 
Required Skills:

 

  •  3+ years in market research field
  •  1+ years experience in a managerial role
  • A degree (Undergraduate or Masters) in an analytics oriented field (Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, Engineering, Physics)
  • Active knowledge of video games mechanics and monetization strategies (physical storefronts, virtual economies, in-game stores, in-game currencies)
  • Basic understanding of database structures and writing SQL queries
  • Microsoft Excel (Lookups, Pivot Tables, Dynamic Formulation, Sorting, Charts)
  • Coding experience
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • English proficiency required
