The Account Manager of Sponsorship role for Nielsen Esports will be responsible for managing our sponsorship valuation products, deliverables, and client relationships, providing valuable analytics and insights to key clients.

ACCOUNT MANAGER - SPONSORSHIP, NIELSEN ESPORTS

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Nielsen Esports sponsorship products, including internal project planning, operational team coordination, day-to-day product maintenance, development, and delivery.
  • Identify and drive sponsorship product evolution and expansion in conjunction with new industry trends, growth areas, and client needs.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Nielsen Esports sponsorship valuation clients, maintaining and evolving relationships.
  • Proactively develop relationships with new and existing clients, using your initiative and judgment to adapt your communication and service delivery methods to meet the needs of and delight our clients.
  • Manage internal processes for project setup and participate in project briefing meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Produce client reports and presentations by providing insight and advising on strategy with a focus on the goal of the end user.  Lead presentation of findings to clients via conference calls or in-person for assigned clients and support delivery of others.
  • Work collaboratively with internal subject matter experts such as Market Research, Social/Digital, Consulting, and Operations.
  • Study industry trends and insights to deliver impactful reports to all clients.
  • Involvement in Account and Operations Planning to advise and influence the commercial strategy to grow existing clients and build the business.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong incoming knowledge of and interest in the esports and sponsorship landscape; a personal passion for esports and gaming is strongly desired.
  • 4-5 years experience within the sports marketing, gaming, media or research industry.
  • Strong analytical thinker.
  • Experience managing products and large-scale projects, including internal operational coordination.
  • Customer-centric work experience with ability to establish and maintain customer relationships.
  • Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with excellent initiative and communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; Excel and PowerPoint experience required.
