ABOUT THIS JOB
Nielsen Retail Pricing Services is a dynamic team of 20 people providing pricing intelligence reports to retailers across more than 25 countries in Europe.
This business line has been enjoying strong growth and is currently looking for an: Full-stack Java Developer.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow development good practices, guarantee the quality and the sustainability of the code
  • Join an agile Scrum team and work in collaboration with the development team and a product owner to propose proper and realistic solutions for the business needs in regards to feasibility, development timing and costs
  • Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including discovery, design, code, test and document engineering software applications.
  • Support testing and UAT phases and participate in the deployment.

 

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU
You will be responsible for developing of new functionalities and new screens for an Intranet production application and for a client application, both dedicated to marketing study (reports and charts), scheduling and monitoring of client productions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Application / IT outsourcing / Servicing / Consulting company
  • Good experience on Full stack development: Java, Struts 2.0, STS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular 2,4 or 6, Typescript, Node JS y 3DJS
  • Good experience on  Micro services development and REST Api’s
  • Experienced in design and development of web applications
  • Preferred : knowledge in database manipulation preferably Oracle, MySQL, Postgres
  • Preferred : knowledge of Linux / Unix / Windows Platforms 
  • Able to work in English speaking environment. Able to read and write detailed project documentation in English.
  • Able to work under waterfall or Agile Scrum methodology (JIRA)
