We are now looking for an International Communications Manager to join us in a strategic and creative role. This role sits within the Marketing & Communications function (Marcoms) which is the ambassador for the Nielsen brand and reputation.

Working right across the business, with commercial and Marcoms colleagues in APAC, EMEA and LATAM, you’ll gain exposure to a truly global communications opportunity. 

 

As the International Communications Manager you will enjoy telling Nielsen’s story for media measurement, planning and outcomes and content to shape a better media future for the entire industry. This role is based within a fast paced department. Multi-tasking and adapting whilst maintaining a strong, strategic and holistic overview of all communication channels is critical to success.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering projects across all our internal communications channels to help create informed and engaged Nielsen colleagues
  • Managing and developing key external relationships including influencers and global PR agency
  • Creating innovative and compelling campaigns to engage, educate and inform employees,clients, partners and influencers worldwide.
  • Planning and logistics coordination of internal regional and international town halls
  • Support internal communications in terms of creation and distribution to elevate content, product launches, business announcements etc
  • Be a second pair of eyes on communications to ensure we utilise global brand messaging
  • Ensure everything we do in international marcoms is being measured to share the impact of our efforts
  • Working closely with business, commercial and marcomms colleagues internationally

 

Role requirements:

  • An established communications background and experience within the media / advertising or technology industry is preferred
  • Proven ability to address and engage both business and technical audiences
  • Experience leading multi-practice teams toward a common deliverable on frequently accelerated timeframes 
  • Strong collaborator, communicator and relationship builder, able to build effective rapport both internal and externally at every level of the organization
  • Excellent organization, project management and problem solving skills, with faultless attention to detail
  • Amazing writing and PowerPoint/Slides skills and be able to tell a cohesive story through a narrative or a deck
  • Must be intellectually curious and collaborative, “humble, hungry and smart” with a strong work ethic
  • Experience with the Salesforce Marketing Platform ,WordPress Google Suite, C-EVENT  ( our staple technology)  is preferred although not essential
  • Knowledge/use of survey user platforms like Sprinkler ,SMC ,Survey Monkey or similar
