Responsibilities include


Manage the implementation and Expansion of Arianna, Clear Decisions and Adintel products in South Africa

Build & maintain “expert” knowledge of all Nielsen software products

Help compile & maintain All product user knowledge base

Liaise with corporate support centre

Provide outstanding client service to both existing and new clients

Maintain software help desk duties

Assist with monthly creation of Ratecards, forecast files and packages;

Run monthly Ad Hoc reports for clients;

Receive, analyse & respond quickly to all client and industry queries

Business development with both existing and new clients

Attend & contribute to Industry meetings to stay abreast of industry developments

Able to travel to service regional clients

Experience and skills required:


Minimum 3- 5 Media agency experience with a focus on Media Planning

Familiarity with local media industry with focus on agencies and broadcasters

Business development planning and execution

Strong Business Acumen & problem solving skills

Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, communication and presentation skills

Excellent writing skills – ability to write to a variety of audiences (Executive Management, Clients, Operational Staff, and Technical staff)

Ability to be creative, innovative, and thorough when answering media inquires

Strong organisational skills and decision making ability

Ability to work to tight deadlines

Understanding of the buying and selling of media airtime trading

Familiarity with Arianna and other media planning tools
