For our Manufacturer Consultancy Team in Copenhagen, we are looking for a


BUSINESS CONSULTANT
FMCG CLIENTS

 

 WHAT’S THE JOB?
You will be part of a bigger team of consultants working individually and in teams to solve our clients’ needs best possibly. You will be responsible for a number of our FMCG clients with more specific business solution needs, so you are required to obtain in-depth knowledge and understanding of the clients categories, ways of working, priorities and potential. 


Key responsibilities:

  • Build a strong partnership with the clients
  • Delight the client by delivering analytical insights and advice to support their strategic decisions and maintain retention with the client
  • Relate Nielsen’s tools, systems and product portfolio to your clients business issues and ways of working
  • Spot the opportunities available between Nielsen and your clients
  • Manage and drive sales by creating proposals, negotiate and establish a long-term value for both the client and Nielsen

 


WHAT’S THE PERFECT CANDIDATE?
For this business crucial role you will have to possess strong FMCG background with key account and category management skills. Numerical confidence will make you successful in the analytical part of the job. For the client-facing part excellent presentation skills and consultancy mindset is needed. 


Key requirements:

  • Min. 5 years of experience within FMCG company or consulting experience with FMCG clients
  • Good numerical confidence and ability to translate numbers into insights and recommendations
  • Consultancy mindset  - even though our clients are experts in their own fields, they expect Nielsen to provide them with the right insights and solutions to solve their business issues
  • Good presentation skills
  • Previous sales experience is welcome but not required
  • An engaged and ambitious mindset, not afraid of challenging the status quo.
  • Fluency in Danish and English
