For our Innovation Team in Hamburg, we are looking for:
 
Innovation business partner - Associate Manager
 
As Innovation Business partner, you’ll be in charge of finding new clients and help them to develop their new products, using our insights, data and capabilities in terms of Innovation. You’ll help the client to grow their innovation business by advising them studies to determine the best strategy to launch new products, or you could work with industry leading marketers to evolve new products into a success.

How can you make a difference? You’ll:

  • Deliver on revenue goal for Germany client portfolio.
  • Consult with clients regarding their business questions and turn it into actionable research designs.
  • Design and estimate costs of new projects.
  • Establish high standards of client deliverables.
  • Lead client meetings and handle sensitive client discussions where necessary, including senior level and procurement.
  • Drive client satisfaction by providing business insights and actionable recommendations during presentations or business reviews.
  • Attend client planning meetings and contribute by providing Nielsen insights and solutions to the client’s business needs.
  • Develop strategic understanding of industry trends, competition and opportunities for other Nielsen areas.

The candidate will have at least:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field
  • 6+ years’ relevant work experience (marketing, research, agency, CPG manufacturer, etc)
  • Knowledge in market research & FMCG industry
  • Strong Business English and fluent German
  • An understanding of growth & brand strategy
  • B2B sales experience with challenger selling skills
  • Able to identify & develop opportunities in a complex B2B sales process
  • Negotiation skills 
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytically curious
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Advanced Analytics knowledge
  • Strategic planning & account management
