As a member of the Client Consulting team at NCS, you’ll join a team of motivated, innovative and collaborative media and analytics professionals. You’ll find success on this team by leveraging your strategic and analytical skills to solve our clients’ largest media challenges.  You’ll help influence client’s media and advertising decisions, leveraging NCS’ proprietary data and product suite to identify actionable insights and recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your clients’ campaigns. In this role, you’ll hone and expand on your experience as a client solutions professional in the marketing data and research field.  


We’re hiring a Client Consulting Senior Manager to own the day-to-day for a diverse CPG client roster that consists of both growth and emerging accounts.  You’ll manage the delivery of media targeting and measurement projects, providing insights and recommendations that are aligned to the client’s strategic business priorities, and establish effective working relationships with clients, agencies and internal business partners.  You’ll oversee and coach direct reports on client deliverables, application of NCS products and processes, and business acumen, while collaborating with your Client Consulting Director and Business Development counterparts to develop account plans that grow the NCS business with our clients.   


Your primary responsibilities:


  • Own and oversee the day-to-day account management responsibilities for multiple clients
  • Oversee all aspects of targeting, including developing targeting strategies and recommendations that align with the client’s campaign objectives, and lead status calls and workshops with clients and agency teams to manage targeting requests, builds and refreshes, and understand performance
  • Drive successful end-to-end delivery of NCS Sales Effect measurement studies, from study design scoping, exposure collection set up, serve as the key contact for client and the internal Ops & Analytics teams, analyze results, and tailor and present findings and recommendations to client needs
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key client and agency decision makers
  • Collaborate with internal, cross-functional teams to successfully deliver on targeting and measurement projects
  • Grow clients by understanding their needs and identifying new ways to work with them; partner with Business Development counterparts and work alongside your  Client Consulting Director to develop and implement business account plans for your roster of clients
  • Through effective project management, executional excellence, insightful analysis and actionable recommendations, position NCS capabilities with clients to ensure NCS is a vital element of their decision making process regarding media planning, buying, targeting, optimization, and measurement
  • Manage a Sr Analyst and an Analyst
  • Continuous effort to improve NCS processes both to facilitate more effective account management and working with your Consulting colleagues to establish best practices and knowledge sharing across teams


What you’ll need:


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a client facing role, likely at a media agency or within a media research capacity at a major advertiser
  • Strong analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills with a consultative mindset of successfully managing accounts through a combination of high quality work, insightful thought leadership, and building effective relationships internally and externally
  • Independently own or oversee day-to-day account responsibilities, with proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and/or clients simultaneously
  • Experience with media/advertising research, including objective-setting, exposure collection, and analyzing, writing and communicating findings and recommendations
  • Knowledge within the digital/programmatic media ecosystem; knowledge of TV is a plus
  • Currently or have experience managing at least one direct report
  • Knowledge of Consumer Packaged Goods industry is a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and/or Google for Work.
  • Travel may be required (up to 15%)
