This is a full-time, Summer internship position.  The intern will be based in our Chicago or Cincinnati office.  There could be an opportunity to work during the academic year as well.

The Delivery & Analytics team serves as a trusted advisor and solutions provider to our clients.  As a member of Delivery & Analytics, you will start with a client problem or challenge and work backwards to create the right process and mix of solutions/product to tackle that opportunity and provide insights.

 

As an intern, you’ll support driving client value by assisting in the analysis and preparation of client deliverables.  To do this, you will have a set of powerful analytical tools, thorough job training, a supportive peer network and experienced manager to help guide your work.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Contribute to client deliverables and deliver integrated insights and analyses

  • Conduct research and contribute to presentations

  • Provide insights to client inquiries and deliver high level of service

  • Participate in knowledge sharing across the organization

  • Utilize and participate in analytic communities to create and promote best practices

  • Mine and organize data based on client business issues

  • Organize data and identify trends and patterns

  • Utilize advanced statistical modeling to prepare analyses and make preliminary recommendations

  • Broaden knowledge of client business issues and needs, industry and Nielsen Catalina Solutions services

  • Participation in cross functional teams/projects

 

 Qualifications:

 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, finance or economics

  • Currently a Sophomore or Junior in college

  • Available to work full-time during the summer 

  • Strong academic record with minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or equivalent

  • Working knowledge of SAS and SQL a plus.

  • Strong analytic proficiency with the ability to analyze large and complex data sets.

  • Client service mentality

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google suite

  • Ability to multi-task and good communication and organization skills
